If it is your desire to have your child attend a school that is not their zoned home school for the 2024-2025 school year you must complete the Intra-District Transfer Request Form. As a reminder:
- A new transfer request form must be completed and submitted to the Registration Office every year.
- Students must maintain excellent school attendance, punctuality, and satisfactory behavior.
- Transportation to and from school is the sole responsibility of the student’s parent/guardian.
Applications for an Intra-District transfer for the 2024-2025 school year can be submitted starting Monday, April 15, 2024, and must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024.
Parents and guardians will receive notification of approval beginning Monday, August 19, 2024.
The Intra-District Transfer Request form is available in the PowerSchool Portal by clicking on Forms on the left sidebar. (See this Help Doc for support.)
It is the goal of the Shaker Heights City School District to educate students in their Zoned Home School as much as possible. We appreciate your cooperation and adherence to District policies and rules. Intra-District transfer requests will be honored as District policies regarding School Enrollment Capacity and Class Size permits.
