Tips for Reading at Home

Did you know that children who read frequently develop stronger reading skills? Although there is plenty of reading durin gthe school day, it's just as important to read at home! Here are a few tips for reading at home

Boulevard Elementary is a Common Sense Media (CSM) Certified School. Parents and students are encouraged to check out the CSM to learn more about how to be safe and informed users of digital media. 
 

Our Staff

Ms. Kristen Roope, Librarian 

Ms. Roope teaches classes about books and authors. She also teaches students to become good inquirers. All students learn how to find and use information in the library and on the internet. She also knows how to find exactly the right book for each student to read. She works with teachers to make sure the library has resources to help students achieve. 
 

Ms. Sabrina Scott, Library Technician

Ms. Scott helps students and teachers check materials in and out. She knows exactly where everything can be found and helps students and staff use resources and computers in the library.
